Sometimes I want to turn my mind into a scrabook Full of colours and feelings and happiness
Bright and intensive
With classical music in the background
Sometimes my mind seems to need time to refresh
I don't want to loose a single day
But wait -
Maybe the not so happy ones could vanish away
Tired, always tired, flying through the night
A whole new creature
One day my life will be like in my scrabook
With me as the princess of a long forgotten tale
In a dress made out of dust
And threads out of glass
The soon to be Queen as cold as ice
But only seen through shattered mirror glass
Fly, fly and leave the sky
The light will warm you up and make you new
The dancers would never stop like the sparkling violins
Sounds so magical and beautiful
Not leaving the ear
Do you feel how you are getting colder and colder?
Just look, your fingertips turned already blue The flame cannot hurt me, I am the Princess
We are the betrayed folk of a kin
Which needs its wings to fly
The war will end soon enough
And I am going to be the wife of the Butterfly Prince Like it should, it will never be This is just the way to eternity He said, that he loves me
He told me, to find this glow
Beyond lies the chateau

and the night forms shadows
which have never been so far so dark
and you start to ask questions
about things you really should know
its so hard to find an answer
if all you want is simply to go
take a break from your life
take a break from your soul
try to be what you always wanted
and never remind yourself
of what you can and cannot do
lies, so many lies
and nearly all of them
only in your little head
wandering behind the mind
behind the reasonable thoughts
have you ever laughed
just because you could?
I don't think so
I don't believe it
and maybe that's why you can't too
in this moment
in this moment
I really want to see you cry take a break from your life
take a break from your soul
try to be what you always wanted
and never remind yourself
of what you can and cannot do
You wish for changes
You beg for chances
But why should you get your wishes fulfilled?
I really don’t get it
As all the others seem to share your hopes
Break it down
Rebuild your being
